I also recommend Wizard of Legend, West of Dead, Void Bastards, Curse of the Dead Gods, Sundered, Rising Hell, Going Under. I beat it before getting most heroes past their 2nd or 3rd skills tier but kept playing anywayīasically, it's replayability is painfully high but thats the nature of the genre right? Not just a difficulty jump when you beat the final boss. The main difference is Children of Morta has an actual story and an actual ending. Not even on a harder difficulty, just enjoyed the gameplay and graphics so much. I beat the game once on XBox (thanks Gamepass I love ya) and am playing through a second time on Switch. Like the he's you mentioned, dying only makes you stronger in the long run. There are a TON of side quests/stories that you might miss even after beating an entire dungeon. Each character has 4 tiers of skills, and each tier has a passive skill that helps every single hero as well. All heroes are obtained by the time you make it through the halfway of the second dungeon. But it has all the aspect of the games you list. In terms of actually gameplay, like the fighting, it's more like Diablo. ![]()
